Excitement was in the air at “Spring Bling,” an event which was recently held at the Hampton Inn Suites in Surprise, AZ.   350 ladies of the Red Hat Society came together from across Maricopa County for an afternoon luncheon and shopping extravaganza that included custom-created items from Michael’s Garden.

 

Under the direction of Lynn Stern, Michael’s Garden’s head product designer, the clients of this unique, hands-on program created one-of-a-kind red and purple hats, decorative keepsakes and jewelry to suit even the most discriminating shopper.  Also, the artwork of one of the talented Michael’s Garden clients, Rebecca, featured her charming portrayal of “Ms. Red Hat” which was also replicated on gift cards and screen-printed on bright red aprons. 

 

However, it was concluded that no attendee’s wardrobe would be complete without a “Red Hat” Witch Hat to be worn during October for meetings and Halloween related festivities! Proceeds from the sales of these items benefited Michael’s Garden.
